Archives of past music obsessions

I saw NIN open for Peter Murphy in 1990, I think, and then I saw them open for David Bowie in 1996 or something like it. The remastered album is amusing. I mean, it was way overproduced back in the day, and still is. Some songs are great, but this kind of industrial wasn’t half as interesting to me as the Neubauten of the 80s.

(I saw NIN and Peter Murphy at the ballroom in Raleigh, I think. Who the hell opened for the Psychedelic Furs that year? I cannot remember, and it frustrates the hell out of me. Oh, well. Only my DJ mind cares. The rest of me smiles.)
